What we do
Earth Story exists to fund the most effective climate change and poverty alleviation projects on the planet. Our goal is to initiate, execute and collaborate with ethically aligned partners. Together we will drive significant transformation to our global environment and the people that inhabit it.
Why we do it
Our planet's capacity to sustain life is experiencing an increasingly perilous decline. Immediate action needs to be taken to reverse the devastating effects of climate change on people across the globe.
Our carbon projects
We believe the best carbon projects are those that create measurable positive impact on our planet, but also create measurable positive impact on the people who live here. We are putting efforts where the need is greatest – In the developing world, where there is an opportunity to not just mitigate climate change, but also to alleviate poverty.
Our first carbon projects are based in sub–Saharan Africa, where we’re collaborating with strategically and ethically aligned partners to create large scale REDD+ and ARR projects that will off-set millions of tons of Co2, while achieving as many of the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals as possible. These projects will also bring jobs and lasting economic stability to communities that will would otherwise have very few options.
Telling the story of change
We believe the power of media is the greatest influencer of human behaviour on the planet. At Earth Story, we intend to use our extensive expertise in media and communications to bring global awareness to the key drivers of climate change, and the solutions to the problem. We will produce all forms of media including factual documentaries, streaming series, you-tube channels, animated series, interactive games... and more. All with the intention to educate and influence people all over the earth to band to together to fight climate change.
